SOME OF THE MORE POPULAR METHODS FOR CENTRIFUGAL FANS ARE DISCHARGE DAMPERS, INLET VANES, AND MOTOR SPEED CONTROL. THE PAPER DESCRIBES A STUDY IN WHICH THESE DIFFERENT METHODS OF FAN MODULATION ARE COMPARED FOR TWO PROTOTYPICAL BUILDINGS IN FIVE LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES.
