Summary
Each of the papers presented in this file reminds the reader that a refrigeration plant should be a coherent entity, from food chilling to heat transfer into the atmosphere, and that any defect in this coherence will lead to latent dysfunctioning and generate raised energy consumption and financial expenditure. Measurement, analysis and preliminary or regular technical considerations must be taken into account to manage a plant efficiently. The manager's job is made easier with computerized methods.
