Summary
In a lithium bromide-water vapour absorber condensation of vapour on the surface of cooled solution falling on the outer surface of pipe and dilution of a solution by a condensate occur simultaneously. The process of absorption differs from usual condensation. At the same time heat exchange in the absorption has many in common with condensation, and description of combined heat and mass transfer can be brought up by propping on well-known Nusselt problem with taking into account the particularities of dissolution.
