Summary
The interest of the paper is that it relates some possibilities to capture CO2 where it is produced in large amounts, (power plants) and transport and store it in various sites (unminable coal beds, oceans, depleted oil and gas reservoirs). Some applications of these processes are already in operation and more research are considered. Other topics are also discussed, as use of hydrogen, Finnish technology or climate change mitigation, waste management.
