Author(s) : Pet. Econ., BP, FORSYTH J.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
The technologies and fundamental science needed for CO2 capture are well understood and are already being applied in various industrial processes. However, to make widespread application economically feasible, significant cost reduction must be achieved. Cost reduction will be delivered by a combination of technical innovation and the learning that comes from applying the technologies in large integrated carbon capture and storage projects.
