THE THIRD CHAPTER LISTS THE PRINCIPLES OF FIRE SAFETY AND THE PRACTICE ENVISAGED IN TERMS OF REGULATIONS AND INSURANCE PREMIUMS. THE AUTHORS GIVE DETAILED RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE BUILDING OF COLD ROOMS: STRUCTURES, ACCESS, ATTICS, INSULANTS, WALLS AND PARTITIONS, CEILINGS, DOORS, DUCTS AND VALVES, ELECTRIC CABLES AND CIRCUITS, PASSAGE THROUGH WALLS, AND FOR THE BUILDING OF ANNEX ROOMS AND TECHNICAL BUILDINGS.
