Summary

THE FIRST SOUND VELOCITY IN HELIUM 3-HELIUM 4 SOLUTIONS WITH CONCENTRATION UP TO 6% HELIUM 3 IS MEASURED IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF 25 TO 165 MILLIK. THE TEMPERATURE AND CONCENTRATION DEPENDENCES OF SOUND VELOCITY ARE SHOWN TO BE WELL DESCRIBED TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ONLY THE IMPURITON SYSTEM OF THE SOLUTIONS. THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA ARE IN AGREEMENT WITH THE KINETIC THEORY OF SOLUTIONS.
