This article deals with flow and melting heat transfer characteristics of ice slurry in a pipe under various conditions. It is clarified that flow pattern, pressure loss, and heat transfer characteristics of ice slurry in a straight pipe and a curved pipe are affected by ice slurry velocity and ice packing factor etc.
