Summary

THE PAPER PRESENTS AN APPROACH TO THE PROBLEM OF THE FLOW OF SMOKE-FILLED AIR IN BUILDINGS PROVIDED WITH SYSTEM OF MECHANICAL VENTILATION, IN THE PRESENCE OF HIGHLY INTENSIVELOW TEMPERATURE SMOKE SOURCES. RESULTS OF THE ANALYSIS OF PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION IN A BUILDING AND THE DETERMINATION OF AIR FLOW DIRECTIONS ENABLE TO SELECT A SUITABLE SIGNALLING SYSTEM INFORMING ABOUT THE LOCATION OF SMOKE SOURCES.
