Flow structure and temperature measurements in a 3-dimensional vertical free convective enclosure at high Rayleigh numbers.
Author(s) : HSIEH S. S., YANG S. S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Experimental studies were performed and boundary-driven flows in a differentially heated water and silicone oil filled rectangular enclosure. Flow visualization was made and velocity profiles were obtained. The vertical and horizontal temperature distributions in the core were measured and compared with previous related studies.
