Fridge magnetism: an exploration of refrigeration dependence in the context of the UK food system and its contribution to climate changing emissions.
Author(s) : GARNETT T.
Summary
This CD-ROM comprises a debate "The F gas regulation will be effective in reducing emissions", as well as 6 papers along with their discussion papers, presented during the 2007-2008 session of the annual meeting of the British Institute of Refrigeration: stopping leaks: the biggest challenge for the commercial refrigeration industry in 2007 and beyond; fridge magnetism: an exploration of refrigeration dependence in the context of the UK food system and its contribution to climate changing emissions; possibilities and pitfalls in carbon dioxide refrigeration; cooling challenges for mission critical facilities; a novel approach to air conditioning of underground railways; trigeneration: a solution to efficient use of energy in the food industry. Some papers have been abstracted in earlier issues of the Bulletin of the IIR (see references 2008-1265, 1275, 0504 and 1359).
