THE GENERALIZATION METHOD BASED ON THE CORRESPONDING STATES PRINCIPLE PROPOSED IN THE SIXTIES IS BRIEFLY REVIEWED AND SOME PRACTICAL NUMERICAL EXAMPLES ILLUSTRATE ITS APPLICATION. THIS GENERALIZATION METHOD IS SHOWN TO OFFER THE MANUFACTURER A SIMPLE, EFFICIENT AND MORE ACCURATE SUPPLEMENTARY TOOL THAN CONVENTIONAL SEMI-ANALYTICAL METHODS.
