Summary
The ‘Global Cooling Pledge’ is a joint initiative between the United Arab Emirates as host of COP28 and the UNEP-led "Cool Coalition". This voluntary Pledge intends to raise ambition and international cooperation through collective targets on improving energy efficiency and climate friendly approaches, while increasing access to sustainable cooling for the most vulnerable.
