Summary

Starting with an analysis of the global environmental crisis seen as global warming due to an increasing discharge of greenhouse gases (CFC, methane, oxides of nitrogen), the author shows that natural gas is the fossil fuel least harmful to the environment although currently the least used despite its relatively low current cost.
