Summary
After optimization of the gold concentration and the annealing temperature, highly sensitive gold-germanium film thermometers for the temperature range 30 milliK-300 K were obtained. The thermometers show good reproducibility, a very short relaxation time constant at low temperatures and are quite insensitive to magnetic field.
