Good practice in energy efficiency: for a sustainable, safer and more competitive Europe.
Author(s) : European Commission
Type of monograph: Other
Summary
The European Commission funds many projects on energy efficiency in buildings. In November 2016, the European Commission presented the Clean Energy for all Europeans package, providing proposals designed to show that the clean energy transition is the growth sector of the future, and to keep the European Union competitive as the clean energy transition is changing global energy markets. In this package's context, the Good practice guide in energy efficiency presents examples of good practice from policy implementation, technology development and investment in energy efficiency across different sectors and throughout all 28 Member States. It also offers a summary of results from projects funded by among others Horizon 2020 and Intelligent Energy Europe.
