Summary
The Gouda hospital extracts as first in Europe cooling from the earth in order to cool the nursery departments and the polyclinic during the summer months. Since last February the allocated area has access to a cold storage system. The heat that this system extracts from the building is stored in the ground and will be used next winter to heat the ventilation air.
