Summary
Describes experiments on a ground-air heat exchanger for which outdoor air is drawn in along a 40 m pipeline at a depth of approximately 1 m. Discusses air flow, heat transfer, the formation of ice and condensation and hygiene aspects. Finds that the heat exchanger can bring 150 to 250 m3/h of air up to the temperature of the earth.
