Summary
Describes a complex solar meteorological model valid for clear and cloudy days, using ambient air temperature, relative humidity of ambient air and solar radiation on a horizontal plane. In addition describes an optimisation computer program, involving application of the adaptive simplex and conjugate gradient minimisation method. States that application of the model has achieved a good degree of accuracy, and that the model can be very useful in the simulation of solar engineering problems.
