Summary
A cross-flow heat exchanger type adsorber is expected to improve dehumidification performance by removal of adsorption heat and sensible heat of the adsorber actively by flowing cooling air. In this study, heat and water vapor transfer characteristics of the adsorber was investigated experimentally at various cooling air velocities. A big difference in temperature profile inside the adsorber was observed between with and without air cooling.
