THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE A TEST HOUSE INCLUDING HEATING FLOORS AND A HEAT PUMP, THE EVAPORATOR OF WHICH OPERATES ON THE SOLAR ROOF, WITHOUT WINDOWS (THEREFORE AT LOW TEMPERATURES) OR ON A NETWORK OF BURIED LOOPS; THE SOLAR ROOF ALSO PROVIDES A HEAT REGENERATION OF GROUND. NUMEROUS MEASURING INSTRUMENTS MADE IT POSSIBLE TO SET UP THE ENERGY AND HEAT BALANCE AND TO ANALYSE THE PHYSICAL BEHAVIOUR OF GROUND. A CALCULATION AND SIMULATION PROGRAMME RESULTED IN AN OPTIMISATION OF THE SYSTEM. L.R.
