Summary

SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OF TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION IN THE HELIUM II CURVE. THE EQUATIONS FOR HELIUM MOVEMENT ARE USED. CALCULATION OF THE HEAT FLUX BETWEEN PHASES IN TERMS OF IMMERSION DEPTH AND BATH HEAT. ANALYTICAL RELATIONSHIP FOR SMALL ONES ; FOR LARGER ONES, A REGULAR PROCESS IS SUGGESTED. THE RESULTS CAN BE USED FOR THE DETERMINATION OF CRITICAL HEAT FLUX. IT WAS ALSO FOUND THAT THE PRESSURE VARIATION IN THE HELIUM CURVE IS NOT HYDROSTATIC.
