Summary
Due to the outstanding features of heat pipes, such as high heat transport capacity, small temperature gradients, heat flux transformation as well as the possibility of employing them as temperature controlling elements, the application of heat pipes has been attracting increasing interest. There are a host of examples of the development and application of heat pipes in the European area.
