Type of article: Article

Summary

THE CONDITIONS FOR THE APPLICATION OF A HEAT PUMP ARE ADVANTAGEOUS BECAUSE THE THERMAL SPA PROVIDES HOT WATER ALL THE YEAR ROUND AND THUS A SO-CALLED BIVALENT SYSTEM IS NOT NEEDED. UTILIZATION ON THE COLD SIDE IS ALSO ENERGY SAVING, WHILE THE HEAT REQUIREMENT DURING A WHOLE DAY IS FAIRLY UNIFORM. DURING THE DAY THE HEAT IS USED FOR HEATING AND KEEPING THE WATER WARM AND DURING THE NIGHT, WHEN THE POOLS ARE FILLED WITH FRESH WATER, FOR HEATING THE WATER.
