Summary

STATES THAT BUILDING THERMAL INSULATION AND HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS BASED ON ENERGY ABSORBER TECHNOLOGY ARE NORMALLY CONSIDERED APART. SEEKS TO DEMONSTRATE THE POSSIBILITY OF AN INTEGRATED APPROACH LEADING TO OPTIMUM INSTALLATIONS WITH RESPECT TO MINIMISING THE SURFACE AREA OF THE ENERGY ABSORBER AND THE ASSOCIATED COSTS. USES THE EXAMPLE OF MEASUREMENTS CONDUCTED ON THE CONCRETE ENERGY ABSORBING SURFACES IN A THREE-FAMILY HOUSE IN MUNICH TO SHOW THAT PREVIOUS CONCERN ABOUT UNACCEPTABLE HEAT LOSSES WITH THESE SURFACES AS PART OF THE BUILDING STRUCTURE IS GROUNDLESS.
