Summary
Industrial heat pumps have made great strides over the last ten years. This development implies the utilization of electrical or mechanical energy (vapour compression or recompression heat pumps), of thermal energy (absorption heat pumps) and of waste heat (heat transformers). Thermodynamic performances were improved and the range of choice was increased.
