THREE PAPERS PRESENTED ON THE OCCASION OF A ROUND TABLE ON HEAT PUMPS ARE SUMMARISED. THE FIRST RELATES TO NATIONAL TESTS ON EQUIPMENT FOR FAMILY HOUSES AND APARTMENT BUILDINGS, WITH THE PURPOSE OF ASSESSING THEIR PERFORMANCE, THEIR ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY AND THEIR MAINTENANCE. IN 83% OF CASES THE EQUIPMENT IS AN EXHAUST AIR-AIR SYSTEM COMBINED WITH A BOILER OPERATING DURING THE COLDEST DAYS. THE SECOND DESCRIBES FAILURES AND THE DIFFICULTIES OF WHICH ONLY ONE QUARTER RELATES TO THE MACHINE AND ITS ANCILLARIES, THE REMAINDER TO BUILDING INSULATION AND THE HEAT DISTRIBUTION PLANT. SOME DATA ARE GIVEN ON MISUSE AND MAINTENANCE MEASURES. THE THIRD DESCRIBES FIVE PLANTS, AMONGST WHICH A SWIMMING-POOL. A.G.
