THE PAPER GIVES THE OVERALL RESULTS OBTAINED FOR ABOUT 12,000 DWELLINGS EQUIPPED WITH A HEAT PUMP WHICH WERE TESTED SINCE 1977. 90% OF DWELLINGS ARE FAMILY HOUSES AND 80% USE EXHAUST AIR AS A HEAT SOURCE IN THE EXHAUST AIR-AIR SOLUTION WHICH IS THE MOST OFTEN USED IN FAMILY HOUSES. SUMMARISE THE OBSERVATIONS MADE MAINLY ON ENERGY SAVINGS FOR THE VARIOUS SOLUTIONS: EXHAUST AIR-AIR, EXHAUST AIR-WATER ; EXTERNAL AIR-AIR ; EXTERNAL AIR-WATER ; WATER-WATER ; WATERGROUND AND THE CASE OF HEAT PUMPS AS STAND-BY BOILERS.
