Heat pumps offer reduced CO2 emissions.
Varmepumper som CO2-reduserende teknologi.
Author(s) : STENE J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The CO2 emissions associated with use of electrically-driven heat pumps are generally considerably lower than those associated with modern high-efficiency oil- and gas-fired boilers. The article describes an acknowledged method for calculating the emissions from electrically-driven heat pumps as well as from gas- and oil-fired boilers. The results are presented in general diagrams.
