Summary

A FIELD MEASURING CAMPAIGN WAS MADE ON A PERCHE HEATING PLANT WITH A HEAT PUMP COUPLED TO 1 OR 2 BATTERIES OF ATMOSPHERIC COLLECTORS. A COMPARISON IS MADE, BY MEASURING COP, WITH HEATING BY ONLY A BOILER AND WITH A CONVENTIONALHEAT PUMP AND TWO WAYS OF IMPROVING THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF THE PLANT ARE SUGGESTED. A COMPARISON ON A TEST RIG OF 3 DIFFERENT HEAT PUMPS (VENTILATED BATTERY, AIR-GLYCOL WATER EXCHANGER AND SOLAR COLLECTORS) WAS THEN MADE IN ORDER TO CHARACTERIZE THEIR PERFORMANCES AS A FUNCTION OF EXTERNAL CONDITIONS AND TO FACILITATE THE OPTIMUM DIMENSIONING OF COLLECTORS.
