Heat storage with a separating membrane.
Stockages thermiques à membrane séparative.
Author(s) : CORNETTE R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The flexible membrane separates, within the same reservoir, 2 variable volumes, one of which contains the flow water at low temperature (generally 5 or 6 deg C), and the other of which contains the return water, whose temperature is about 10 deg C higher. The separating-membrane thermal storage system is suitable for capacities of several hundred to several thousand cubic meters of water.
