Summary
CONSIDERS THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE COMPLEX HEAT TRANSFER AND PRESSURE DROP MECHANISM AT BOILING POINT OF COOLING FLUIDS IN HORIZONTAL PIPING OF A COOLER. ENUMERATES THE BASIC METHODS IN DETERMINING PRESSURE DROP AND COEFFICIENTS OF HEAT TRANSFER WHEN COOLING FLUIDS BOIL WITHIN THE PIPES. FINALLY THE RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL TESTING OF A WATER COOLING PLANT ARE GIVEN AND COMPARED WITH PREVIOUSLY DESCRIBED METHODS. (INT. BUILD. SERV. ABSTR., GB., 19, N 5, 1984, 28, 84-01625.
