Summary
For pure refrigerants such as HCFC-22, HFC-134a, HFC-125 and HFC-32, results show that the variation in the heat transfer coefficient and in the pressure drop is an increasing function of the vapour mass velocity at tube inlet and of the vapour saturation. These results show good correlation with experimental values found in the literature. An overall mean deviation of 6% is observed for the heat transfer, and of 1% for the pressure drop.
