RESULTS OF A TEST STUDY OF HEAT TRANSFER BETWEEN TUBES HEATED BY WATER CIRCULATING AT 363 K (90 DEG C) AND A 0.4 METRE THICK FLUIDISED SAND BED. THE STUDY COMPARES THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT OBTAINED IN THE TEST RIG WITH TWO CLASSES OF SAND GRANULOMETRY FOR DIFFERENT FLUIDISATION RATES AND DIFFERENT KINDS OF HEATING TUBES (PLAIN, WITH CROSSWISE AND LENGTHWISE FINS).
