DEMONSTRATES THE CALCULATION PROCEDURE TO DETERMINE THE MEAN COEFFICIENT OF HEAT TRANSFER DURING EVAPORATION OF REFRIGERANTS INSIDE SMOOTH HORIZONTAL TUBES, AS DEVELOPED BY DANILOVA. APPLIES A FLOW PATTERN MAP TOCALCULATE THE FLOW PATTERNS AND THE MEAN HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS FOR DIFFERENT FLOW DOMAI THESE FINDINGS CAN BE USED AS A BASIS TO DETERMINE THE MEAN HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT FOR THE TOTAL EVAPORATOR.
