Summary

HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IN GRAVITY CONTROLLED CONDENSATION ON A HORIZONTAL TUBE IS ENHANCED BY COILING A WIRE AROUND THE TUBE, BECAUSE THE CONDENSATE FILM BETWEEN THE COILED WIRES IS THIN. AN ANALYTICAL SOLUTION IS DERIVED FROM SIMPLIFIED SIMULTANEOUS DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS.
