THE PAPER IS CONCERNED WITH THE PREDICTION OF HEAT TRANSFER IN BANKS OF TUBES UNDER CONDITIONS OF TURBULENT FULLY-DEVELOPED FLOW INCLINED TO THE AXES OF THE TUBES, INCLUDING THE LIMITING CASES OF PURELY AXIAL AND PURELY TRANSVERSE FLOW. RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL DATA IN THE CASES OF PURELY AXIAL AND PURELY TRANSVERSE FLOW. NOVEL INFORMATION IS PROVIDED ABOUT THE EFFECTS OF FLOW INCLINATION ON HEAT TRANSFER.
