THE AUTHORS PRESENT EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS AND ANALYTICAL CORREL ATIONS ON THE HEAT TRANSFER RATES IN A CLOSED TWO-PHASE THERMOSIPHON OPERATING IN FULLY-DEVELOPED BOILING REGIME. THEY FIRST DISCUSS A NEW EMPIRICAL CORRELATION PROPOSED IN LITERATURE TO ESTIMATE THEHEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT AT THE EVAPORATOR ; THEY ANALYZE THE HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS AT THE CONDENSER ASSUMING A FILM CONDENSATION ; AND THEY PROPOSE A NEW CORRELATION FOR THE FLOODING OPERATING LIMIT.
