Heat-transfer performance of a corrugated-tube thermosiphon. 1. Evaporator performance.
Author(s) : NEGISHI K., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In the paper, a corrugated tube was used as the container of the thermosiphons and distilled water was used as the working fluid. The influences of the liquid charge ratio and inclination angle on the heat-transfer performance were studied. A useful formula to calculate the heat-transfer coefficient in the evaporator has been derived.
