Summary

THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF HEAVY HYDROCARBON MIXTURES, IE FRACTIONS SUPERIOR TO C6 ARE CALCULATED BY REFERENCE TO THE REDLICH-KWONG EQUATION MODIFIED BY SOAVE. THE ATTRACTIVE TERM OF THE EQUATION IS CALCULATED FROM THE VAPOUR PRESSURES IN A RANGE OF A REDUCED AND GIVEN TEMPERATURE, AND THE ACENTRIC FACTOR IS CALCULATED FROM THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE BOILING POINTS AT 1,330 PASCALS.
