Summary
A SYSTEMATIC STUDY HAS BEEN PERFORMED WITH MIXTURES CONSISTING OF NITROGEN, METHANE, ETHANE AND PROPANE TO INVESTIGATE EXPERIMENTALLY PHASE EQUILIBRIA AND CALORIC PROPERTIES AND TO TEST THE ACCURACY OF THERMODYNAMIC CORRELATIONS. THE PAPER REPORTS MEASUREMENTS ON TERNARY SYSTEMS IN THE PRESSURE RANGE 2 TO 12 MEGAPASCALS AND T= 200 K. THE RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH DATA CALCULATED BY GENERALIZED EQUATIONS OF STATE.
