Heralding the scroll.
Type of article: Article
Summary
With temperature control and reliability, additional design drivers for compressor selection are high capacity at high ambient and low box temperature; low operating cost due to high system efficiency; and low system cost. These important factors, in conjunction with other 'nice to have' features such as low weight, small size, low noise and refrigerant flexibility, will favour the scroll selection in the marine container system.
