Summary
Recently the Limburg countyhall has been equipped with an ammonia driven absorption heat pump. This heat pump is part of the heating and cooling system of the building. The pump transforms the apparent useless heat of the maaswater to a useful temperature level. The expectation is an annual saving of 100 000 m3 gas and a reduction of CO2-exhaust of 175 ton.
