CRITICAL TEMPERATURE OF 100 K WAS REPORTED BY THE CHINA'S PEOPLE DAILY IN FEBRUARY 1987. BUT THE EARLIEST TECHNOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED BEFORE FIVE TO TEN YEARS BECAUSE OF THE NECESSITY OF TURNING THE CERAMIC SUPERCONDUCTORS INTO USEFUL PRODUCTS SUCH AS WIRES, FILMS, ETC.
