How climate affects the temperature parameters in potato storehouses equipped with mechanical ventilation in different regions of Rumania.

Summary

Based on temperature and ventilation requests and on the weather data from 8 meteorological stations for the period October-April, the author evaluated climatic limits to ensuring the optimum thermal parameters for storing potatoes in storehouses in various regions. Maximum storage times were found to be from 5 to 7 months.
