Summary
The article deals with the subject of fire safety with regard to cold stores and cold rooms. The selection of external or internal building frames is discussed as well as the selection of materials and the technical construction of the building. Further subjects are the selection of isolated wall and roof panels, and the fire resistance of doors and hatches. Finally, a number of examples encountered in daily practice are given.
