Summary
A field in which dehumidification is the treatment of choice is swimming pools. The high level of humidity in the ambient air around pools tends to damage equipment and is unpleasant for users. Many public and private sites have yet to be equipped. In this field, every project requires a special study and this is illustrated by a swimming pool in Ivry, Val-de-Marne. In large and medium-sized stores and supermarkets, the performance of refrigerated display cabinets could be raised thanks to specific regulation of the humidity of the air in the immediate vicinity. Among new applications: a novel air-conditioning system performing dehumidification then rehumidification.
