Summary

The Yomiuri Shinbun Fuchuubekkan has been planned as a media complex for both newspaper printing and a computer center. Two different types of heat storage system (an ice storage system with an ice-making centrifugal refrigerator and a low-temperature heat storage system with a multi-thermal tank) are effective for peak-cut of electricity demand.
