Summary
AN ANALYTICAL MODEL HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO PREDICT THE PERFORMANCE OF OPEN-CYCLE ABSORPTION SYSTEMS FOR WASTE HEAT RECOVERY. THE MODEL IS BASED ON THE INTEGRAL CONTROL VOLUME APPROACH. THE SYSTEM CONSERVATION EQUATIONS AS WELL AS CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONS ARE PRESENTED. PREDICTED RESULTS DEMONSTRATED THE CAPABILITIES OF THE MODEL AND SHOWED THAT THE MODEL COMPARED WELL WITH OTHEREXISTING MODELS AND DATA.
