Summary

TWO SETS OF HYDRODYNAMIC EQUATIONS EXIST FOR A ROTATING SUPERFLUID LIQUID. IN ONE, THE EXPANSION IS CARRIED OUT OVER ALL GRADIENTS INCLUDING THE VELOCITY CURL COMPONENTS CORRESPONDING TO UNIFORM ROTATION, WHEREAS IN THE OTHER THE EXPANSION IS ONLY IN NONEQUILIBRIUM GRADIENTS. THE SPECIFIC MODES OF THE HYDRODYNAMICS OF FAST ROTATIONS ARE INVESTIGATED. SOME FEATURES OF THE THERMODYNAMICS OF OSCILLATIONS OF AN ISOLATED VORTEX FILAMENT CONNECTED WITH THE EXISTENCE OF A PROPER MOMENT FOR THE VIBRATIONAL QUANTA ARE ALSO CONSIDERED.
